FACTOR 50

Falmouth based quintet, Factor 50, burst onto the South West music scene in the autumn of 2019 with nothing but electrifying live performances and a charismatic sense of humour.

Pulling together influences from Talking heads to Radiohead to Squid, they take an innovative spin on the genre of indie rock, receiving praise for their creative approach to instrumentation: never before will you hear a bass emulating a synthesiser and a synthesiser emulating a bass. After spending a year dominating the local Falmouth scene, they are now focusing their efforts on capturing their unique live energy in the studio, to produce their highly anticipated debut single which will be released in the spring of 2021.

REDRØ

In 2020, producer and instrumentalist Cassius Whiley- and guitarist Anderson Foresyth, both Falmouth Music students united with Vocalist Ruby O'Connor, and began a series of 3am songwriting sessions which conjured up the unique style of songs that are heard now, this in turn came to form the trio named REDRØ. REDRØ is a combination of dreamy and entrancing vocals and "synth-drenched-deliciousness"- Sarah Gosling, BBC Introducing in the South West. The basic form and simple style combined with the steady and deep cavernous rhythms are something easy to get lost in.

MOTHMAN, THE MAN

Mothman, The Man is a Lo-Fi, Psychedelic, Fuzz Folk project headed by a prominent member of the Falmouth music scene. Borrowing the name of the mythical creature 'Mothman', who terrorized the small American town of 'Point Pleasant' in the '60s, this project is a way for me to express myself completely and freely. I am originally from the midlands but recently moved to the deep south of the UK. This stark transition has helped inspire me to create more music of my own and I hope to do so more in the future.
